Lotsa reasons why these are discovered NIB
One unmentioned one is right. Legislation
Allies decided on MkIII 160-190mhz frequency/code-agile system early
o. An amazing British system. Really amazing. Would be hard to
clone/dupe today with PLL & sw-defined radios. The delta-f over F was so
dang big.
BC-645/ABAs were coming off the line at a fruious rate B4 the brakes were
set.
BC-645 was a pulse deal run by code-wheel as one guy correctly noted.
Wasn't FM tho. System was called Mk-IV. Not related to Sgt. Friday's
production company
Amazing feature is the 11V dynamotor who's input was regulated by a carbon-pile
regulator... had to have that code-wheel speed regulated
