I believe the audio filter switch function has been correctly described for this radio. That same function is STILL used (now it's called "test") on my Narco MK12E NAV/COMM to enhance either the Morse ID/(sometimes voice) or the NAV signal(s) between 108-117.975 Mhz. Bill KA3AIS
