[Milsurplus] Loran: APN-7 Loran S-band beacon

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

Have one here that I noted in the "One-off" thread a month back.  It
began life as a Philco APN-7 & was reworked as a APN-21XR/RT-21 by MIT

Presence of 446 cavity & 2K28 evidence S-band intent

Parsch web site sez APN-7 was a used with APS-2 S-band (3 gig) search
radar on, mostly, seaplanes.

Only gess is they'd turn it on when in water to lead surface vessels
or other acft. in for help.

But why associate it w. Loran?  Someone here knows
