Good point.  I didn't make the connection of pressurized vs.
unpressurized between the ARC-21 / -65 and the ARC-58 but I should have. 
That said, wasn't the ARC-58 available in a pressurized case?

The ARC-27 is also of the same era.  I know the case of that set is
pretty heavy, same for the GRA-53/4, another UHF set.  Use to maintain
both UHF sets when I was in the PI.  They ran so hot it was darn near
impossible to take them back to the shop till they cooled off.  Just
about gave you blisters trying to remove the hot chassis from the case!

As for the hybrid ARC-58 and the all tube ARC-21, I don't really think
that this makes any difference in weight.  Heat dissipation sure but the
modules in the ARC-58 are standardized whether solid state or tube.

Mr. Pinner's ARC-21 came sans case, how much does this beast weigh?
