Subject: [Milsurplus] LO DF
The urban legend of being able to DF receivers LO refuses to die,
although the technology to do this barley exist today, and most
certainly did not exist in any practical form in the nineteen forties
the myth still exist, that and the thirty foot squids attacking fishing
boats.
Perhaps the lack of any common multi coupler for receivers can be
traced to the fact that almost all of the old receivers were relatively
high impendence on their antenna input so you can stack groups of two
and three on the same antenna with no ill effects? Look at the group
mounting of ARC-5 receivers as an example.
