Guys:

Let me repeat:  It wasn't the enemy reception of LOs that was the
problem.  It was operating a quantity of friendly receivers in close
proximity, probably using the same antenna.  LO on antenna terminals
undesirable.  Ships, comm sites, sigint sites, all had the same problem.

And while I'm at it, what were multicouplers before 1950?  How did they
operate multiple receivers from one antenna?
