[Milsurplus] It's "Back to the bench"

Hi all,
I just moved the BC-342 back to the service bench. "Cooking it" in it's
cabinet all day apparently brought out a latent failure, most likely in the LO
compartment. It started acting up, 15 MC WWV dropped about 100KC low on the
dial, calibration on other jumped and the bottom bands went completely
berserk! Guess my rejoicing was a little premature.

When I first got it going the LO seemed a little erratic, but after doing a
lot of capacitor replacement etc, it straightened up and flew right. Guess I
have to bite the bullet and pull the bandswitch shaft, LO module etc 8^(

73 from the "Beaconeers Lair".
