Apparently so.  NAVSHIPS 91469 on RBB & RBC-5 & -6 is dated 02 July 1951.  
The RBA, RBB and RBC were replaced (for a short time) in the fleet by the 
AN/URR-11, 12 & 13.  Which were soon replaced by the R-390A/URR.  And some ships 
never made the transition.  As late as 1965, USS Bushnell (AS-13) still had RBB's 
and RBC's as the primary communications receivers.  Of course, tenders never 
were high on the priority list for upgrades, at least in communications 
equipment.
