While on the subject of como, I would like to state my disgust
with the television networks and local (Dallas) TV stations for
NOT broadcasting President Bush's speech tonight at 7 PM.
I did view the speech online. Not at CNN, who wanted a credit
card, but at www.whitehouse.gov where I found "The Pentagon channel".
After the speech, I discovered to my great pleasure, a continuous
stream of military programming, the subject of this post.
The Pentagon Channel link is not always shown at hitehouse.gov
It is at http://pentagonchannel.feedroom.com/
Those with broadband will have no issues. Modem users will
usually get good sound but a choppy video. You will need a fairly
updated version of internet explorer and shockwave plugins etc,
but if you don't have the right stuff, the site will direct you
to them for download.
Try the Pentagon Channel. It's a breath of fresh air as far as
'news' goes, and it shows alot of great MILstuff in action.
