All,

I have a Russian transceiver here labeled P-108M with accessories (antenna
and handset), a bunch of instructions in Russian and an English translation of
rudimentary operating instructions. The English instructions are for an R-105M,
but the picture shown looks exactly like what I have. Presume the Cyrillic
"P" translates to "R" but how about the 105? Looking through the eye piece
and shining a flashlight behind the front panel the frequency scale reads 28 to
36.4 which I presume is MHz. I would also presume the modulation type is
FM.

The thing took two batteries (wet cells?) connected in parallel according to
the lashup in the rear battery compartment. My main question at this point
is what is the battery voltage??? Remember seeing threads on this subject in
the past but didn't pay attention at the time.

The set is in real nice shape. Any help would be appreciated.
