[Milsurplus] BC-342 dial question.

Hi, me again,
One thing I've noticed about this BC-342 is that the main dial doesn't go
"quite" to Zero at the low end of the tuning range. Along with this, most
of the bands appear to be off by roughly the same amount (physically, not
actual frequency). Now, I know that alignment and calibration can probably
bring the frequencies in place on the dial, except that by not going to zero
there will always be an error at the bottom end.

Is there a fairly simple way to reposition that dial without total
disassembly of the gear mechanism? I don't fancy doing a total teardown of
the gear mechanism.
