GE All,

Tnx much fer your prompt reply......to answer both of ur emails with
one, yes, I will get a photo and put the thing up on the website so that
you can take a look and pass it around to whomever for ID.

I figured I knew exactly where the unit went, but darned if I had run
into the thing before, and the bipin lamps were kind of unfamiliar, and
I thought I had seen about all there could be.

I appreciate your offer to take it to the USN if need be....in the
interest of authenticity with the shack, it just demands this indicator
by the door, as well as the cypher lock to enter --hi--
(It also doesn't have any windows, which is also authentic==lol--

I had really believed I had seen about every permutation of crypto stuff
there was, including indicator lamps, but I guess I was wrong....

Incidentally, I am well protected against TEMPEST. I wouldn't have it
any other way, even though these days, all the tfic I handle is UNCLAS...

Nice to meet another crypto/TEMPEST guy after all this time..there
really aren't that many of us around...

Brooke, I will get a photo of the shack as well and post it... I'm kind
of proud about the authenticity, got me a Stelma distortion test set,
complete, a couple of AN/URA=17's. a AN/URA-8 2 R390's amd am R392. and
virtually every vintage of heavy metal, complete, reperfs, patch panels
(Audio and DC) as well as my usual rig.
