The BC-429 is the 28V version of the 14V BC-229.  It combined with the
BC-4/230 TRF rx in the early 30s thru, perhaps, '43 as the usual "command
set."

CW was MCW allowing TRF rx design.

I've read we entered ww2 with these in plenty of ships.  For example,
the P40 Tomahawks had them.

Cute, simple design w. p-p modulators & a MOPA for making the RF.  One
dyno ran both the rx & tx.

Say note there were some TUs that were xtal control.  6210 kcs was
a favorite place for airport call-in.

I'm skipping the surface here.

But I thot I'd at least start something.
