10KW generator for $50
It's a 10KW unit, military type from the air force. don't know the
model but it has nameplates. water cooled gasoline 4-cyl flathead
engine with magneto, uses
24V batteries to start, or use hand crank, provides 110V, 208V, 220v.
3 phase or single
phase by means of a large 'block' style jumper assy you open up and
arrange to
select. Machine has all volt, amp, Hz, oil guages meters etc, all
sides and rear control panel doors can be opened for easy access or
closed to keep rain out. 60 Hz.
about 24" wide, 6' long, 3' high. about 1000 lbs. on skids.
Gainesville TX. U bring a trailer and the means to load it.
what's the catch?
it was running fine, except for a small water pump leak for which we
just added coolant from time to time. got a new generator and stored
this one for 6 years.
now engine won't turn. A good project, and probably make a fine
powerplant if freed up. I don't want to see it go to scrap, but need
it out of my way.
