Hi Ed,

This was meant as a bit of whimsy. My vote on the chances is actually
"none". However, I have experienced in my life lesser but nevertheless
similar happenings, so I have faith something weird may happen and
therefore leave my hopes not completely closed.

I wrote yesterday the TCS-14 manual indicates a 12 volt PSU was shipped
with the contract made by Air King (thus leaving open the very
infinitesimal chance of finding s/n 441. Yeah, right.). Anyway, for the
purposes of future use of my TCS-14 (after I regain my long expired ticket
in the next year or so) I'll be using whatever is available. Can't afford
much right now as I'm an unemployed college student (A real old one at
that. And no, I don't mean the college ;-) but something will turn up
that's useable. The Rochester (NY) Hamfest is coming up June 4, 5 & 6 and I
may be able to scrounge something there.

Just checked and discovered the TCS remote control unit price which started
this silly thread ended at $305.00. Jeeez, imagine that :-/
