[Milsurplus] ATTN: RAT and RAT-1 Owners

Don't know if this actually got posted.
I had an inbox implosion about that time:

  The contract dating database is getting interesting,
  but there are several sets for which I have few datapoints.
  I'd like to release the data, but not until I've turned over
  every rock I can reach.

  On the back of the covers of your RAT and RAT-1 radios, there
  is an acceptance test date stamped.  It's not on the chassis
  skirt as in later radios; this is on the cover.

  The earliest date I have for RAT is October of 1940.
  The earliest date I have for RAT-1 is April of 1941.

  If you have any earlier dates, please let me know.
