I know a guy, Pat Melly in Borrego Springs, who was a GRC-9 op in the
Marines. He had an 'Angry-9' on the beach when the Marines went to Beruit in
1956. Pat said he used the leg key at the end of its cord with the key
toward the water while trying to look as if he had nothing to do with the
radio. Not as much a target was his call on it.
