[Milsurplus] FT: junky historic radar

I have a radar RT unit I would like to trade off, as it is 
something special. It is an RF-(XA-4)/APS-1(XA-1) (how's that for a 
name?). The AN/APS-1 is a rather important radar, being a very early X 
band unit made by Western Electric - basically a lab project that paved 
the way for the rest of the X band units that have become classics.

The problem is that it is not in great shape. It is one of the early 
pressurized aircraft cases (it looks like a huge black M&M). A few dings, 
a few dents, lots of mud and stuff smeared all over, a little corrosion, 
and worst of all, one of the small modules is missing from inside.

So maybe you can make this thing look nice, anyway. Maybe you could mock 
up a module to fill in the hole.

Anyway, I am looking for a trade or whatever. Interesting things to trade 
for are other early radar things, 1920s and 30 military radios, 
ancient mainframe computer stuff, or maybe some other thing I never knew 
I needed to have. Try me.
