Hue & Alan,

As Alan said, the AN/VRC-6 (lo-band) and AN/VRC-19, AN/FRC-27 and AN/PRC-21
(hi-band) were procurred for "security forces" in the early 50's. If there
were lo-band FRC's or PRC's built, I don't have the numbers. Briefly sorta
popular in the late 60's and early 70's. Once in a great while someone, usually an
MV collector with an odd vehicle, will ask about parts for one of them.
Beyond that, they're about like the MAR/RDR that I commented on yesterday. Very
little demand and not much real salvage value either. I have the operating
console (Control, Radio) C-845 around here somewhere, along with a fair stack
(pun intended) of the VRC-6 & 19 components.
