You probably have, but did not know it. SCR-518 receivers and transmitters
pop up on Ebay with quite regularity (BC-688-A and BC-689-A). It was an
RCA design, very early in the war. Many made, few used, so the stuff pops
up new in the box more often than not.

There is a chance that the first generations of AYDs could have had a
different connector - my manual only covers the AYD-3. There is also a
possibility that you had an AN/APG-4 - they share the same case. This was
a very odd torpedo launching radar used on Avengers. I can't get to by
/APG-4 manuals right now, but I think they may have used differnt
connectors.
