Yea, I saw the non standard power supply, the relocated antenna trimmer
and lack of antenna and ground terminal on the front too. but I cannot
tell by the pictures if the labeling is engraved or raised lettering. I
am inclined to think its a "Ham" job by the fact that their is no cover
or case around the radio lousing the original handles and front makes
using the normal box difficult, but you have to admit that its a strange
looking 348.
