Hi all,
Emblazoned across the front of my BC-342N in great big, orange lettering it
says, "FUNGICIDE TREATED, BEFORE OPERATING READ TM 11-850".
I presume that if the military unit was under attack and the radio man shot,
whoever the CO told to send out a "request for cover fire or assistance" would
have to sit down and read TM 11-850 before sending out that call? Makes sense
to me ;-)
My radio also has the crooked modification stamps (3 of them) that I've heard
others speak of here.
If anybody on the list is keeping record of these things, here's the poop on
my radio. Fully functional after "electrical overhaul". Cosmetics, fair.
