Have you seen the Korean War Memorial in Washington, D.C. ?
There is a guy (statue) there holding a BC-611.
(The BC-611 is the old WW2 Walkie Talkie you saw in the Movie "D Day";
(also
known as an SCR-536, it goes from 3.5 TO 6 MHZ, Most are now on 3885 kHz,
1 mile range, 150mW min. i have 2 of them...)
Let me know if you would like a picture of the Memorial Statue (250k).
