[Milsurplus] Mini Tubes

Well the first good use I saw made of the small
tubes was in hearing aids. They used the small
tubes with the inline pins that where true minis.

But the AN/TRC-34 and the R-394 receiver also used
those types as well. Also in modules for the diffrent
functions in that radio. I would bet Fair radio still
has some of those modules to sell as they had a whole
lot of them at one time.

The tubes in the RCA reciver although small, are
larger. They are almost like a smaller 6C4. They 
are round at the base and attched to insulator in 
a circular pattern.

The last mini that I know of was used a great deal in
many units. The RCA Nuvistor was a great little tube
and was used probably more than any other single mini.
Most where in RF service, but have seen them in audio
as well over the years. Even a mike preamp one time.
