The GRC-9 set only has an output of 15 watts or so and its
power supply only needs . It's pretty wimpy for a GRC-19.
It also would not supply the voltages the larger set needs.
Probaly plenty of GRC-9 owners that would be willing to
take it off your hands if you're not using it.
The GRC-19, most specifically the T-195, needs around 40 amps
at 28v to operate and a bit more than that to handle dynamotor
surge on keyup. I couldn't even use my PP-4763 with it because
the surge would trip the breakers every time. I could use it if
I paralleled 2 12 volt batteries across the output of the supply.
The PP-4763 works well with a GRC-106 or GRC-193 and other
400 watt radios. The R-392 needs to have about 8 amps
to handle the filament "on" surge, but only around 3 amps
or so the run. The T-195 has two dynamoters in it. The "small"
is on whenever the function switch is not is standby - it supplies
the 400 Hz for the autotune, the voltages for the bias and
and the 250V "low B+" for the rest of the transmitter and
for the pa/mod screens. This smaller dynamotor needs
about 15 amps at least to keep going. The "hoss" is the
high voltage dynamotor - or in the B version a solid state
invertor - that supplies 1000 Vdc for the PA and modulator
plates - it is only power up in the TX modes.
