Many thanks for the information on the dynamotor. To answer the
outstanding questions, near new condition, one small rusty scratch on one
end bell, some dust needs washing off. I opened the ends, and there was
a moderate amoount of brush dust in the primary end. So, I put a meter
on the output and applied 14 volts to the input. Unloaded it read 276
volts. Doesn't coast very long, so my supposition about the grease is
likely correct.
One direct response indicated a receiver waiting for a dynamotor, so I am
entering into negotiations with him.
