[Milsurplus] Photo of Los Banos Naval radio station

Here is a quite poor picture of a picture of the Los Banos Transpacific 
Receiving Bench (great name). I did not want to break the spine of the 
book, so I took a digital picture (with typical results).

Anyway, the receivers (from left to right) are Navy XW, RS-1, RF, RT, 
and some frequency meters I can't make out.

As you can see, radios were small but long back then!

XW was a one shot experimental unit. The others were made in fairly small 
quantities, maybe a couple hundred of each. I know at least two RFs 
survive (one at the AWA, and one on private hands thru Ebay some years 
back, but I am not sure who won it), but I don't know of any RS or RTs that 
made it this far.
