What type '611's are you using them in?

I ordered four of those from Carmello Litrico a few years back,
and none worked in my BC-611F's.   I even test rigged them
on the bench and could not get them to work.

I sent them back and since Italy wanted import duty on them
Carmello did not claim them and they were sent back to me.  :-)

I then sent them back a second time, marked "junk parts" and then
went thru OK.

Carmello sent three of the originals back saying they were good, and
one NEW one that he replaced.

Still, none worked.   The "replaced" one did sputter a little and put out
about 15 volts on the test bench.... and then stopped.

So, I'm back to just building my own batteries with 12 Nine Volters....

Any suggestions?
