I don't know anything about production quantities but do have a couple of 
comments.  The RAT-1 was the 28 Volt version, so the 4 pairs of 14 Volt are 
actually RAT, which would mean 74 pairs of RAT-1 in that auction.  The NT-21400 14 
Volt dynamotor was also used on the NT-50128 TCS Interphone Amplifier.  And 
the Navy Type Number of corresponding items of RAT (non-electrical), RAT-1, ARA 
and RAV are the same.  Minor trivia, the background color of the RAT (14 Volt) 
nameplates was black, according to the manual, to aid in differentiating them 
from the 28 Volt units.
