In all likelihood, Hammarlund simply was a subcontractor.

Subject: [Milsurplus] FS: Hammarlund Fuse Covers
Date: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 00:07:26 EST
Groups,
I have two clear plastic castings or covers that say (molded in) "SPARE
FUSES". 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" x 5/8", hollow box with reinforced hole in middle.
Envelope that they were in says 5920-280-4419 (the FSN), Fuse Cover, and
Hammurlund
Part # 31494-1, packed 1/63. The only Hammarlund sets I'm familiar with are
the SP-110, 210 and 400 series and they don't belong there. If anyone
recognizes them and/or needs them , contact me.
