Hmmm... Afraid I can't. The three legs would not have stood up to the
rigors of vehicular use, especially over rough terrain, and there would be no
reason to set the rig up in the truck bed for stationary operation. Would just
tie up the vehicle. Could have been a special vehicular mount, I guess, or
maybe some kind of transportable shelter? Nothing about this in the manual,
though.
I would suspect the two M-2-4s were used one for the radio stuff, and the
other to haul the crew's baggage (shelter tents, tools, supplies, etc.).
