That's because we whooped 'em, Bill....'to the victor go the spoils', so
it's okay for us. But your point is on the mark. I suspect a lot of it
is related to those who wish they could get it but couldn't afford to.
Japanese and German gear bring some pretty stiff prices here due to the
lack of availability. Shouldn't be surprising to see foreigners bidding
high on something over here - particularly considering the exchange
rates on the dollar right now.
