[Milsurplus] CRT numbering

I didn't see anyone answer Bruce's question about CRT numbering.  In a nutshell:

The first number relates to size, about as accurate as TV sizes.

The letters were issued in alpha order, starting with A.  AS would be way down the list, and one wonders where the other 30 some odd designs went.  AFIK, there were no upgrades, like the AS is a better version of the S.

The P and following digits indicated the phosphor, and there a good list is useful.  P1 is scope, P4 is B & W TV, and P22 is color TV.  I think the orange, dual persistance radar display was P10, but don't take that to the bank.  Anyone have a good URL for the phosphor designations?
