The earliest edition of SIG 5 that I have that shows the base Signal Corps 
Stock Number 2C4497 is dated April 1955.  2C4497.1 is R-509/ARC (same as A.R.C. 
R-15 [28V]) plus dynamotor and mount/rack.  Knowing how the Signal Corps built 
stock numbers, what you have are two IF transformers for the R-15 (which 
covers 108-135 MC AM).

I don't have any catalogs with part numbers in them like you give for the 
second pair, but if it looks like a Command Set 85 KC IF, it probably is.  
However, from the date, it was probably built for the A.R.C. R-11.

Not maybe a great find, but some Command Set collectors do include the A.R.C. 
Type 15 (the MF and VHF gray sets) in their collections.
