Group,

I'm trying to get a couple of DM-28's together for a list member. Problem is
ratings and model application. The parts lists in all of the manuals that I
have on all three major groups (EMOPS, HKLR and JNQ) give 220 volts @ 70 MA as
the dynamotor output rating. Some of the manuals have changes incorporated
as late as 1954. But, I have two here with output ratings of 230 volts @ 100
MA. One is loose and I don't know for certain that it came off of a DM-28
base, although the tapped holes in the field housing are in the correct locations.
The other is on a typical DM-28 base, and the condition of the components
and wiring is grungy enough that it is probably if not original, at least older
than most of the list members. The base is not for a JNQ as the B- goes to
the terminal strip but does not go to ground, and the sheet aluminum cover is
full length. Neither dynamotor proper has a DM-28 nameplate. Both do have the
contractor dataplate indicating that they were made either for or by Bendix
Radio.

Does anyone know anything that would shed any light on the mystery?
