[Milsurplus] MAB

Hi Group....I have a MAB unit that I crystalled for
3.885mhz. Has anybody ever used one? a few years ago I
heard a couple of guys talking on 3.885 am and I
walked out into the back yard and was able to break in
on the fellow in Tenn. while I am in WV. They were not
able to hear what I was saying but I was very proud
that they heard me at all....not bad for a couple
hundred milliwatts into a pack mounted
vertical.....anybody else every try one? Thanks...mike...wa8ywo...
