[Milsurplus] 348 loose ends

Hi Ken & list
I have a bunch of BC-348's -- not the whole alphabet, but several.
My 2 cents: Depends more on condition and presence or absence of
undesireable mods. It also depends if you're a purist and want an authentic
dynamotor-powered unit or one with a very nicely done homebrew power supply.
I'd suspect that in order to get the "pick of the litter" in that respect,
you have to let up on breeding, where my impression is that the differences
between "build" are relatively minor. As I recall, most of the letter code
variations correspond to manufacturer, like Belmont, Wells-Garner, etc.
What say the experts?
Barry
