Hi Jack,
I've never tried to trace out my R-76/ARR-13, nor do I have any info on it other than what's at Chesson's site.
Chesson says that it is a **12** vdc unit. Chesson lists the "RCA AV-126" with it, which presumably means that the AVA-126 vibrator supply (which can be set for 12 vdc input) was used to power it.
Although it seems strange that the power for a Stetchell-Carlson receiver would be coming from an RCA power supply, it does make sense that a separate HV supply of some sort would be required **if** the unit was in fact designed for 12 vdc power. A unit designed for 24 vdc (BC-1206) could make do with 24 vdc for the HV.
I'll have to find my unit and trace out the filament windings to verify their connection for 12 vdc.
