A question or two for those in the know.
What exactly does "Designed by Signal Corps" mean?  (Block diagram,
complete schematic, mechanical layout?)
Which entered service first?  BC-224 or BC-312?  I think the initial
BC-224 was GE, the A was RCA redesign and the BC-312 was only RCA.  These
are interesting questions to me and go a long way to understand just what
was going on with equipment development just prior to the war.  Does
anyone have a contract report on either of these receivers?  (Extreme
long shot but one can hope!)
