N3TPM, Craig and I, Bill, KA3AIS planned to set up a "radio maintenance depot" (that's what we've been calling it anyway...) at this largest of WWII commemoration events. The "radio depot" would be a first for them. We're looking for additional help. 1 day or all 3 would be great. Also:
-you don't have to bring any radios, but it wouldn't hurt.
-you should be a licensed amateur - we want to set up a 40M station. But not required.
-you should know your radios. There will be a test :-)
-you'll be talking with the public all day long...
-you should live in the Delaware/Lehigh Valley, near Philadelphia, South New Jersey, etc. and have your own car.
-a WWII mil. outfit/uniform, shoes, or something that looks close would be really helpful. (We still don't have ours yet.)

We're in our own 10 x 14 building near the main hanger which can be secured. At this time, we have 1 hotel room reserved at the airport, so we can shower and have a short drive or walk to "work". I have a stack of brochures - I can scan or mail out one to you. Also have maps of the local area and the "encampment" on the field.
WWII weekend is Jun 4,5 and 6, 2004. Hours roughly 9-5/6/7 Fri. and Sat., 9-5 Sun. Sat. is the big day. Lots of airplanes and re-enactors, allies and axis. We have attended before, but not "exhibited".

If the weather is good, will have a table at W.A.R.C. Fest in Wrightstown, Bucks County, PA. on May 2. Will have brochures, etc.

I may not be able to attend 'Reading', so even more reason to see if there is any serious interest. Thanks.

Bill KA3AIS
