Note the postwar Kelly AFB cal/overhaul sticker on the front of the BC-221 
behind the BC-224 or BC-348.

Whether the sets in the photo ran on 14 or 28 volts, that's a good question.  
MB's (and USMC equivalent) used as radio Jeeps in WW-II and Korea had the 
passenger seat removed and an auxiliary generator and addititional batteries 
installed, except for those with SCR-284, 510, 610, 619 and 694-C installed.  
Radios installed with the conversion kits included AN/ARC-4, VRC-1, SCR-506, 508, 
608, etc.  I saw a working Korean War variant (28 volt) three weeks ago at 
Brent's.
