Dave,
I didn't say it didn't get used anywhere else except in aircraft. I said
that I didn't know of any SCR- or AN/ nomenclature assigned to either a ground or
a vehicular version as was done with the BC-191-A through -F (at least five
that I know of).
Also, somewhat TIC, SCR-287 includes a trail antenna. How'd they deploy that
on the boat? :-)
