for sale;
picked up two BC-733-D chassis'; these are complete MINUS the tubes and
side panels; both units appear to be Crosleys; they look like they were
never issued, as they are very clean (but there are/was some depot
paperwork taped to the top, there is some residue on one unit, the other
still has the paperwork attached); painted on the front panel (in small
letters, nicely done w/ stencils) are the MFP date ("MFP June 1945" &
"MFP Sept 1945"); inside each unit is the "B.C. 733-D Production Test
Data Sheet" which were inside the original small brown envelopes; the
envelopes include work order #, date (one is May '45, the other August
'45), inspectors stamps for Pre-Final Mechanical (inspection), I.F.
Alignment, Overall Alignment, Overall Electrical, Final Mechanical, Type
Test. these envelopes are marked Model-BC-733-A. Folded up inside were
the "B.C. 733-D Production Data Sheet" (8" x 11") which include date,
work tag no., serial no. (blank), & dynamotor serial (blank); the sheets
document a long list of tests (voltage, frequency, sensitivity, etc) and
are completely filled in. at the bottom of the page is the Crosley
inspector stamp.
these units came to me in this condition, i did not pull tubes or
panels; obviously they were either complete units at one time (having
been tested), or possibly assembled for tests then taken back down (?).
i can scan the paperwork for anyone documenting such things. finish is
original black, insides are fairly immaculate. NO CRYSTALS, SIDE PANELS
OR TUBES!
$42.50 each + actual shipping charges; digital pix always available.
tnx,
