The Tech Manual for the I-177 through I-177-B is TM 11-2627 dated 03 August
1944 with changes up through Change 3 dated 05 March 1954. I have several and
they turn up on eBay every now and again, although usually without the
changes.
But as Bob says, check the rectifier first and look for obvious damage
elsewhere. Also, make sure that the fuse lamp is the correct part number. It
should be an 81, which is a Single Contact Bayonet based lamp rated 6.3 volts 1.05
amps. Someone could have put a 12 volt automotive side lamp bulb in its
place.
