I don't remember mentioning Abbot TR-4 for a long long time,
so i kinda wonder what the reference to me and Abbot refers
to.
However....
The TR-4 and similar don't seem to bring too high prices, so
they seem to be affordable, when they do come up.
This item on the auction block, i also thought it was a remote
control for a transmitter, BUT....it has volume, antenna tuning,
and antenna loading. No channel control. So it's some kinda
xcvr. I do not think it's superregen, and with the loading control,
i would surmise it's somewhere in the 3-50 MHz region.
