The VMS system is in a steel-walled, locked, alarmed room along with
various other treasures. Physical access control is the key. To break
in without the login, however, the machine would have to be locally
and physically violated to some degree, thereby setting off a novel
yet inexpensive alarm system consisting of a redneck with a gun who
will be unhappy about his gateway to the vast porn of the internet
being er.. 'compromised' :P
