I second that - all the WW2 German armored vehicle radios (Fu. and number
designating the exact configuration of the sets depending on power, vehicle
and frequency range) were AM/ CW sets. Tanks normally used 27.2 to 33.3 MHz
and support infantry vehicles used 23 to 24.95 MHz. Some configurations
included radios to cover both frequency ranges in command vehicles but all
was AM/CW.
This story about FM may be one of the "urban legends"....
Tom is also right about the Russian A7 but they were our allies and got some
technology from us.

Hello All,
>I bet not well. All 6/43 & later Deutch armor had FM to our post-ww2
>surprise.
Do anyone know of any specific sets? I know about the Russian A7, but not
any German WW2 FM sets.
