I bet not well.  All 6/43 & later Deutch armor had FM to our post-ww2
surprise.

You read that right.  3rd Reich had 2-way FM in all panther (not panzer)
& tiger tanks.  Seems they got some US Link stuff (SCR-298) @ Kiserine Pass
in Ethiopia in 6/42.  It performed remarkably a DL3 pal 'o mine.  This 
corroborated by a history channel program last week

Germans cloned Link FM & AEG & Siemens built it.

Immitation is sincerest form of appreciation.

And I bet our later FM-targeted jammers exploited the it's capture effect 
while they swam rather than pulsed their way thru a 2-way band.

Then came frequency hopping.
