Aww, Ed,
The OS-8 was great for checking lissajous patterns from the SRT 14-15-16
76 tube synthesizer, to make sure the rig would be "on freq."

Besides, you could set it on the deck and it would "look up at you"...at
a fair angle....     :-)

This meant we didn't have to tie up a TEK/HP scope for that simple job..
