I guess one of the differences is in "maintaining" contacts etc. and
bringing stuff back from "the dead". BoatAnchors and old Mil gear cover all
that so the get-it-working methodolgy has a lot of dynamic range. In drastic
switch cases I use fiber optic lapping film soaked with Deox-ID, kinda goose
down sand paper saturated with nuclear waste, works fine.
